Spring Into Training
Six week conditioning program With Teri Good weather brings opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities. The focus of this 6 week series will be to improve your leg strength for hiking and biking. Core strength for tennis and golf. Arm and back strength for swimming. Improve your cardiovascular endurance and gain confidence in your abilities while working in a supportive and fun group environment. There are two groups to choose from or sign up for both!!

Health Walks to Beaver Brook Reservation
Join Matthew for weekly Free Health Walks. These walks will last 45 minutes to an hour. During the walk we will be exploring the beautiful surroundings of the Beaver Brook Reservation.
The group meets every Wednesday. Meet at 11:30am at Waverley Oaks Athletic Club in the main lobby.

Balance and Fall Prevention with Matthew
Most people are unaware that there balance has been steadily declining until they have a falling event. Each year 1 in 3 people over the age the age of 65 will experience a fall and 75% of those falls will result in some kind of bone fracture. Studies from the CDC also show that once you have fallen once you are more than 50% likely to have another fall within a calendar year. So….before one of these unfortunate, potentially life altering falls happen to you join Matthew Fennell in a one-on-one program that will take a proactive approach to hopefully preventing falls rather than having a reactive approach and subsequent recovery after a fall. The program will emphasize static as well as dynamic balance, total body strength (especially the core and legs) as well as postural improvements. Winter is HERE……get stable NOW!!! This is a six week program.
